Effective September 5, 2026
Privacy, plainly.
This policy covers Frog Goes Here for iPhone and iPad, developed by Dylan Krause, and this support website.
Game progress and preferences
The game stores destinations, attempts, personal records, daily results, wardrobe choices, settings and earned hint credits on your device. Progress may sync through Apple’s iCloud key-value service when you are signed into iCloud. Conflicts preserve the best records. We do not run a separate player-account or game-save server. You can manage iCloud data and device backups through Apple’s settings.
Apple services
Apple handles purchases and purchase history. The game verifies signed StoreKit transactions to determine Pond Club access; it does not receive payment-card details. If you choose Game Center, Apple processes your player identity and submitted game scores under its privacy terms. Game Center is optional.
Advertising
Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform provide ads and privacy choices. Ad requests use child age-restricted treatment, general-audience content limits, disabled personalization and disabled publisher first-party identifiers for the entire audience. The game does not ask for your age, request App Tracking Transparency permission or access your advertising identifier for tracking.
These settings do not mean that ads collect no data. Google’s SDKs may process IP addresses and approximate location, app- or device-related identifiers, advertising impressions and interactions, app interaction information, performance information, crash reports and other diagnostics for advertising delivery, measurement, app functionality and fraud prevention. The SDKs’ privacy manifests are included in the app.
Read Google’s privacy policy and Google’s mobile ads data disclosure. Where Google requires a privacy form, it is presented before ad requests. Privacy options remain available in game Settings when required. The game remains playable without ad availability.
Diagnostics and sharing
First-party event counts and summaries of Apple MetricKit diagnostics remain on the device. There is no custom gameplay analytics upload. You may choose to share local count diagnostics with support. Replays are generated on your device and leave it only when you choose a destination in Apple’s share sheet. The game does not read your photo library.
Support and this website
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide, and use it to respond and resolve the issue. Support messages are retained only as needed to handle requests and applicable recordkeeping obligations. This site’s hosting providers may process ordinary request logs, such as IP address, requested page and browser information, to operate and protect the site. We do not add advertising pixels or custom website analytics.
Your choices
Sound, music, haptics and accessible controls are adjustable in the game. Purchases restore through Apple. You can remove local game data by deleting the app and manage cloud data through Apple. To request deletion of support correspondence or ask a privacy question, email Dylan Krause. Third-party data requests can also be directed to Apple or Google through their privacy tools.
Children and changes
No age, date of birth, chat, precise location or contact list is requested. Protective advertising settings apply to every player. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it. Material policy changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
